Parlee Composites was one of our first bike offerings here at Velosmith and continues to be a mainstay. It was our approach to working with Parlee that coined the Velosmith category of “rider-specific”. The Parlee range covers everything from Aero Road to Gravel and each embodies the classic Parlee ride.
Parlee offers both a custom and stock frame geometries. A Parlee stock frame geometry serves as a new build foundation and then each component in the build is specific to the client’s needs. It is as close to a custom build as one can get without the pricing premium.
Rider-Specific describe a stock frame geometry with every other aspect customized to match the rider’s needs. From gearing preferences and crank arm length to handlebar width, Parlee tailors each bike build for the rider. These small details add up to make for true optimization. This approach is a radical departure from other “stock” bikes where the component selection is based on the law of averages.
Full-Custom for those seeking a full-custom option, Parlee offers their Z-Zero range bikes. For road (RD) or gravel (XD), the Z-Zero range has few limitations.
