Like a royal lineage, Seven Cycles can trace its history back to the dawn of Boston’s artisan frame building movement. Fat City Cycles and Merlin Metal Works provided professional training and personal development for Seven’s team.
Back in 1997, Seven turned the bicycle industry on its ear with the concept of custom geometry without a premium. Seven opened its doors on the premise that every Seven built could be customized without an additional fee.
Seven’s founding team accomplished this through the implementation of a manufacturing system that allowed bikes to be built efficiently and one at a time, rather than in traditional “batch” quantities.
History has proven that a feat of this magnitude could only be accomplished by building a company around this philosophy. The late 90s was an amazing time for custom bikes and Seven’s approach challenged the way individuals seeking an artisan bike looked at their options.
To this day, Seven continues to build frames in the same way: one at a time. The result is Seven’s ability to build a bike unique to you in every way.
One bike: Yours.
