Almost literally, when you look up the word “mountain bike” in the dictionary there is a picture of Tom Ritchey. Tom Ritchey, Charlie Cunningham, and Gary Fisher are credited as the grandfathers of the mountain bike as we know it.
Ritchey has always been a company focused on sensible design and a love for steel.
In our years in the bicycle industry, we have worked closely with Ritchey Designs and owned a share of their wares. Each and every Ritchey frame has proven to be durable, simple, and a true joy to ride. Today’s Ritchey frames are no different and continue to beg their owners to get out and ride.
Ritchey’s steel frames are built using Tom’s proprietary, triple-butted tubing that has a ride as glorious as Tom’s role in the history of Marin County cycling. Ritchey’s strongest suit may be the seamless pairing of performance and price.
